CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Colby Vogel, a distinguished leader and dedicated community advocate, serves as the CEO of Building Something Great, a role that perfectly aligns with his unwavering commitment to making a difference.  As the President and Owner of Tanco General Contractors, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to both the construction industry and the world of philanthropy.

Colby’s philanthropic journey spans over two decades, demonstrating his heartfelt dedication to various impactful causes. He has been an active supporter of organizations like Donate Life, Make-A-Wish, Toys for Tots, and the American Heart Association. Through his tireless efforts, he has touched the lives of many, bringing joy, support, and hope to those in need.

With a deep-rooted connection to the community he calls home, Colby understands the importance of giving back. His genuine compassion and dedication extend beyond his professional life, reflecting his role as a United States Marine Corps veteran, and showcasing his selfless service to our nation.

Colby Vogel’s leadership at Building Something Great embodies his passion for creating a better world, one that prioritizes family, health, the environment, and the well-being of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom. ADAM TANCREDI

EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

Adam Tancredi, an influential and dynamic figure, holds pivotal roles as a Partner and the President of Development at Tanco General Contractors, as well as a Partner at STG Capital Partners. His extensive experience in the business world is complemented by
his profound commitment to giving back to the community, making him an essential pillar of the Building Something Great Foundation.

Adam’s philanthropic endeavors have left a significant mark on his community. His support for the Wells for Life Foundation and the American Heart Association reflects his passion for causes that impact lives on a profound level.

However, it’s in his personal commitment to foster care and adoption that Adam’s true heart shines. Having been approved as a foster family, he went on to lovingly adopt two girls, a testament to his deep care for children in need of a stable and loving home.

Not only is Adam Tancredi a devoted philanthropist, but he’s also a big personality, known for his charisma and towering presence. His impact is felt not only through his generosity but also by being a visible fixture in his community. His passion, warmth, and dedication to making a difference are a source of inspiration for those around him.

In his multifaceted role within the Building Something Great Foundation, Adam’s contributions extend beyond his professional achievements. His charisma, compassion, and personal experience with adoption drive him to champion the causes he holds dear, transforming lives, and creating a positive ripple effect within the community he loves.

CHETAY CATALANO

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Chetay Catalano, an extraordinary and dedicated leader, serves as the Executive Director of the Building Something Great Foundation, where her years of philanthropic experience and personal journey converge to create a powerful impact. With a rich background in community service spanning two decades, Chetay has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

As a devoted mother, Chetay’s personal experiences have ignited her passion for causes that support parents and children with special needs. Her journey has been shaped by her role as a caregiver to both her son with autism and her daughter, who has excelled in Division 1 soccer and pursued a fulfilling career as a Nurse.

Chetay’s passion for community engagement and social impact is evident in her extensive background in the nonprofit sector. Previously, she served as the Community Laision at Ronald McDonald House Charities, where she played a pivotal role in raising funds and resources to support families in need. Also, served as the Executive Director at the Colton Chamber of Commerce, and has been a Board Member and volunteer for many non-profits in Southern California, her dedication to nonprofit work and these experiences have fueled Chetay’s drive to create meaningful change within the community, echoing the values of the Building Something Great Foundation.

In her dual role as a Business Development Manager at Tanco General Contractors, Chetay blends her professional expertise with her deep commitment to philanthropy. Her dedication to excellence and her capacity to connect with people make her a vital asset in both her professional and charitable endeavors.

Chetay’s warm and loving nature is a hallmark of her personality, shining through in all that she does. Her genuine kindness has endeared her to those around her and has been the cornerstone of her success in building connections within the community.

Outside of her impactful roles, Chetay’s heart beats for her two remarkable children, and she’s also a fervent supporter of the Dodgers. As the Executive Director of the Building Something Great Foundation, Chetay Catalano embodies the spirit of compassion, leadership, and dedication, steering the organization towards greater heights of positive change and community enrichment.

DANIELLE JONES

BOARD MEMBER

Danielle Jones is a dynamic professional with a multifaceted career spanning finance, business development, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship. As the Chief Financial Officer of the Building Something Great Foundation, she brings a wealth of expertise in financial management to drive impactful philanthropic initiatives. Simultaneously, she excels as a Senior Business Development Manager at Tanco General Contractors, showcasing her strategic acumen in fostering business growth and partnerships.

Danielle’s passion for community engagement and social impact is evident in her extensive background in the nonprofit sector. Previously, she served as the Development Director at Ronald McDonald House Charities, where she played a pivotal role in raising funds and resources to support families in need.

Her dedication to addressing homelessness led her to contribute significantly as a Board Member at HomeAid, an organization dedicated to helping individuals at high risk of homelessness.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Danielle, along with her husband RJ, operates a thriving Poke Bowl restaurant, exemplifying their entrepreneurial spirit and culinary talents. Despite her busy schedule, she cherishes her role as a loving and adoring mother to six children and a charming husband named RJ, underlining her commitment to family values and personal growth.

Danielle’s remarkable journey is a testament to her ability to balance diverse responsibilities, demonstrate unwavering dedication to making a positive impact, and fostering meaningful connections within both her professional and personal spheres.

CRAIG ROBSON

BOARD MEMBER

Craig Robson is not only a dedicated board member for the esteemed charitable organization, “Building Something Great,” but he also holds the pivotal role of Partner and General Counsel at Tanco General Contractors. With over two decades of legal experience under his belt, Craig has become an authority in construction and real estate litigation in California. His profound knowledge and unwavering commitment to legal excellence have been instrumental in managing legal services for Tanco and championing the cause of the charity.

At the heart of it all, Craig’s deep-rooted faith guides his actions and decisions. As a loving husband and proud father to two daughters, he stands as a pillar of strength and an exemplary figure, both to his family and the entire Tanco team.

Beyond his professional and familial roles, Craig boasts an adventurous spirit, having traveled extensively around the world. He is also a fervent soccer enthusiast, carrying a passion for the sport into his leisure time.
